This year, the OMIA workshop is partnering with the iChallenge team to widen the opportunities to present your work at MICCAI. In addition to the traditional oral and poster presentations of OMIA, GAMMA offers the chance to try your software on a real challenge, this year with Fundus and OCT images.

Description

GAMMA will be organized in conjunction with the 8th MICCAI Workshop on Ophthalmic Medical Image Analysis (OMIA), a half-day Satellite Event of the MICCAI 2021 conference in Strasbourg, FRANCE.

GAMMA will release the world's first multi-modal dataset for glaucoma grading, which was provided by the Sun Yat-sen Ophthalmic Center of Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China. The dataset consists of 2D fundus images and 3D optical coherence tomography (OCT) images of 300 patients. The dataset was annotated with glaucoma grade in every sample, and macular fovea coordinates as well as optic disc/cup segmentation mask in the fundus image.

We invite the medical image analysis community to participate by developing and testing existing and novel automated classification and segmentation methods.

GAMMA contest consists of THREE Tasks:

  1. Grading glaucoma using multi-modality data

  2. Segmentation of optic disc and cup in fundus images

  3. Localization of fovea macula in fundus images
